Paul is now in his eighth year on the board of the NACFB, and his third as Chairman.
After 26 years in accountancy practice and industry, including time spent in a number of key board level positions, Paul has developed a real understanding of the SME market. He provides independence, objectivity and integrity, and specialises in business turnarounds.
Paul founded Goodman Corporate Finance in 2006. The company offers an extensive range of individually tailored finance solutions including commercial and investment mortgages; asset, invoice, development or short term finance; all status lending; factoring; and block discounting.
Goodman Corporate is a significant introducer into the peer to peer and crowd funding market and the team also provides business consultancy and access to an extensive list of UK and European grants. In addition to his work with his own company and the NACFB, Paul is a Governor at his son’s school, providing financial expertise and business acumen. In his spare time he likes to relax and spend time with his son and daughter and his wife Roxanne.
As a former semi-professional rugby player Paul has retained a keen interest in all sports and successfully completed the Brighton Marathon in 2014.
