Paul is now in his ninth year on the board of the NACFB, and his fifth as Chair.
With 29 years in accountancy practice, industry and latterly in his own Commercial Finance practice; including time spent in a number of key board level positions, Paul has developed a real understanding of the SME market. He provides independence, objectivity and integrity, and specialises in business turnarounds.
Paul founded Goodman Corporate Finance in 2006. The company offers an extensive range of individually tailored finance solutions including commercial and investment mortgages; asset, invoice, development or short term finance; all status lending; factoring; and block discounting.
Goodman Corporate Finance is a significant introducer of business across the whole of the commercial finance spectrum and deals with start-ups right through to large PLC’s. In addition to his work with his own company and the NACFB, Paul is a Governor at a local school, providing financial expertise and business acumen. In his spare time he likes to relax and spend time with his son and his wife Roxanne.
As a former rugby player Paul has retained a keen interest in all sports and successfully completed the Brighton Marathon in 2014. Goodman Corporate Finance are the main sponsors at Long Eaton Rugby Club; which has allowed Paul to give something back to the sport that has given him so much in life.
