Leasing brokers are better represented by a strengthened NACFB. Now even the European Commission is taking an interest in them

In many ways, 2006 was 'decision time' for UK asset finance brokers. Either they chose to conform to the ever-growing need for representation or they faced the increasing liklihood of a growing tide of regulation from government bodies.

During 2006, the NACFB held a series of  meetings with the main UK banks, together with representatives of the Institute of Financial Services, the British Banking Code Compliance Board. The objective was to debate the future of broker regulation and search for a policy consensus...
