The current tough economic conditions mean that more and more businesses are looking for help simply to survive. As a broker, many struggling businesses will turn to you to help them out of their difficulties, for help in refinancing their business.

Often a business will come to you when they have already exhausted all other avenues of high street borrowing, creditor pressure is mounting and you have very little time to put together a structured financial strategy which could help the business to survive.

It is possible even in these circumstances to buy time with creditors to implement a turnaround strategy, through refinancing, which does not always result in a formal insolvency process.

To help you in identifying the opportunities (and pitfalls!) of these situations, PKF, one of the UK’s leading firms of accountants and business advisers, is running a workshop for NACFB members.

The workshop will cover:
·         Turnaround strategies
·         Understanding the various insolvency and recovery processes
·         Buying a business from an Administrator or Administrative Receiver
·         Phoenix businesses
·         Pre packs
·         Restricted use of the company name and the director’s future personal liability

Spaces are very limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To register your interest, please complete the form below, or email events@nacfb.org.uk

Attendance at this event will count towards your CPD (category 2)

NOTE: Please do not put your name down for this event on a speculative basis; if you are unlikely to be able to attend you will have taken a space for a genuine delegate.
