The NACFB has recently announced the details of the second NACFB Asset Finance Seminar, which takes place at The Church House Conference Rooms in Westminster, London on the 1st March. Adam Tyler, CEO of the NACFB explains the importance of the event…
The Leasing & Asset Finance division of the NACFB has been a very important sector of the NACFB since the amalgamation with the Leasing Brokers Association in the late nineties. It has become even more relevant over the past few years as the application levels from this sector has increased for the NACFB despite other divisions decreasing in numbers.
To show our commitment to the Leasing & Asset Finance division, we have launched a number of initiatives over the past few years and one of the most popular has been the launch of the NACFB Asset Finance Seminar in 2011. The day was very well received last year and we intend to expand further on the event in 2012. We have decided to run this event annually, specifically to cater for the Asset & Finance division and the growth of the sector underlines the need for the Association’s full support.
The Asset Finance Seminar is a great way to get lenders and brokers from the leasing & asset finance sector together under one roof to discuss the ways forward for the market. The event gives our members the opportunity to voice their concerns and suggestions for 2012 and is a perfect platform to interact with the funders to work together throughout 2012.
The event is run in conjunction with the FLA and will feature a seminar event with the FLA to discuss the future of the leasing & asset finance market. The event will also host other speakers from across the industry that will give their opinions on the market for 2012 as well as offering information on how their business can help brokers provide vital funding for UK SMEs.
In addition to the Asset Finance Seminar for 2012, this year we will also be running a series of 6 Regional Asset Finance Fraud training days in conjunction with ING – dates and venues of these training days will be released shortly. The ING Regional Asset Finance Fraud training days will keep our members up to speed with potential pitfalls in the market and the wealth of experience and knowledge that ING can bring to these days is gratefully welcomed by the Association.
