More potential patrons and a new website...

Friday is here again and concludes another hectic week at the NACFB! I have just returned to the office after a number of days in London meeting with a variety of people including 4 more potential patrons. We are always eager to expand our panel of funders to make our brokers’ jobs that little bit easier. The discussions went very well and we will hopefully be announcing the details of these lenders in the next few weeks – so watch this space!

We also launched the Small Business Finance Directory website under Business Link which is specifically aimed at the SME market to help with funding lines. This should become a fantastic resource for businesses to locate brokers and funding lines, which will inevitably bring new sources of business to our members. The Small Business Finance Directory lists all NACFB Members and our Patrons along with all FLA Members across the UK and a full launch will be made via BIS in February.

So, we have had quite a push in the direction of lead generation schemes for the membership this week and there are certainly more in the pipeline. Working with trade bodies and SME representatives is a beneficial to our membership and businesses across the UK.
