Launch of Commercial Finance Expo 2010 ‘huge success’

6th May 2010

  • Over 40 exhibitors confirmed
  • 300 delegates signed so far
  • 150 delegate signed up in first 24 hours!
  • 13 firms bringing underwriters on the day

The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) has hailed the launch of the Commercial Finance Expo as a great success as over 150 delegates registered within 24 hours of the website going live.

Chief Executive, Adam Tyler, said: “Clearly there was a gap in the market for this kind of event. On top of the number of delegates we have had 45 stands booked at the event – and crucially almost 30 of those have been taken by active commercial lenders. In addition 13 of these lenders are bringing underwriters along so if brokers want to talk about tricky deals, they’ll be able to do so on the day.”

He continued: “We are thrilled that we have representation from the larger high street lenders as well as well as smaller specialist firms, and we are also delighted that we have exhibitors from across the whole commercial finance spectrum representing lessors, factors and invoice discounters, insolvency specialists as well as commercial mortgage lenders.”

“The target for this first event was 50 exhibitors and 500 delegates and with 2 months to go we are well on target and the launch was hugely successful. This will be the event for the commercial finance industry this year, and anyone operating in this market should definitely come along.”
