29th March 2010

Chief Executive of The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB), Adam Tyler, has won the Outstanding Achievement Award at this year’s Business Moneyfacts Awards Dinner.

The dinner, hosted by BBC Breakfast’s Bill Turnbull, was held at the glamorous London Marriott hotel on Grosvenor Square on Thursday night. Nearly 400 people from the commercial finance industry were gathered for a fantastic evening’s entertainment and to see who from the industry had been selected to win one of the sought after trophies on the night.

Adam said: “It was a complete shock – but I am delighted to have won! After three of the most difficult years the Association has ever faced, it is fantastic that all the hard work has been recognised for. The Business Moneyfacts awards always offer a great evening’s entertainment and to be one of the winners on the night was a fantastic experience.”

“After the last three years of trying to put new business on members’ desks; lobbying; launching new events and working with lenders and funders from across the industry, despite the tough times I hope the Association and its members in an excellent place when the market returns. I would also like to give a special mention to the NACFB Board who offer their services voluntarily for the Association and who have supported me throughout.”

Lee Tillcock, editor of Business Moneyfacts said: “Even after close to thirty years in the finance sector Adam remains quick to recognise the unprecedented demands on the broker sector, and has led the NACFB in the launch of several initiatives designed to support its members and the commercial sector as a whole. This joined up thinking is indicative of the approach that Adam has employed throughout his career and of heightened importance given the current challenges faced by the sector. A dedicated and committed individual, Adam Tyler displays a desire to succeed and willingness to work together with others to achieve the best scenario in all walks of his life. These attributes have served him well and ensure that under his leadership a vital cog in the commercial finance sector has its best chance to prosper. Adam is a truly deserving winner of this year’s Outstanding Achievement Award.”
