Adam Tyler has been appointed Chief Executive of The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers. Adam formerly worked for Nat West Bank where he was the Regional Development Manager for the South and South West regions.
Adam joined the Association on secondment as Associate Director in November 2005 and worked with the previous CEO, Keith Heron, on a number of projects.
He says: "I am pleased to be joining the Association at such an exciting time. The work Keith had put in over the last ten years has really begun to pay off. Membership grew well last year, and this year we are focussing on ‘Raising the bar’ – helping our members to provide excellent service to their clients. We will also be concentrating on providing more benefits for NACFB members, not just for this year but also for the future. For example, we are running a number of member events throughout 2007 – both regional workshops and other shows - and look forward to seeing as many of our members attend as possible."
NACFB President, Stuart Barton, said: "Anyone who watches The Apprentice will appreciate how gruelling a ten-week interview process can be. Adam has had to endure an 18-month interview process – but that has put him in the best possible position to understand both the Association and the concerns of its members and means he is best placed take the Association forward. On behalf of the NACFB Board I would like to say how delighted I am to welcome Adam as CEO and I would like to take this opportunity of wishing him all the best in his new role."
